Description
The Department of Psychology at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting full-time faculty position for the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning in August 2026. We seek a teacher-scholar with expertise in Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Psychology. The successful candidate will teach Introduction to Psychology (PSYC 100) and intermediate and advanced courses in their area of specialization. Intermediate level courses may include Psychopathology (PSYC 229) for clinical/counseling candidates or Social Psychology (PSYC 227) for social psychology candidates.
Visiting full-time faculty teach 3 courses each semester and are eligible to apply for support to present at a conference or attend a professional development program through the Provost's Supplemental Research Fund. The College will support reimbursement of relocation costs within its published policies. All full-time appointments offer competitive salaries and include full benefits and a salary of $70,000.
The College will not support H-1B visa applications that require the $100,000 employer fee.

Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching and inclusive pedagogies as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field.
