Applications are invited for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Psychological Clinical Science (Position No. 52830) to begin in August 2026.

The Department of Psychology is seeking candidates with a program of research in a substantive area of Psychological Clinical Science including, but not limited to measurement, classification, etiology, mechanisms, prevention, and/or treatment of psychopathology (broadly defined).

Applicants who use methodologies and/or data analytic approaches that can leverage the resources of the O'Donell Data Science and Research Computing Institute, such as computational modeling and machine learning applications; intensive mobile data collection and data sensing (e.g., geolocation, smartphone usage); use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology for assessment or interventions; and/or high-speed computing for analysis of large datasets, are encouraged to apply. Qualifications:
Applicants with a Ph.D. in any area of psychology will be considered; however, preference will be given to applicants with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. A Ph.D. is required at the time of the appointment. Successful candidates must be able to contribute meaningfully to our doctoral program in clinical science, which is a member of the Academy of Psychological Clinical Science and accredited by the American Psychological Association. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain a rigorous and highly productive research program that has the potential to generate external funding. Candidates also must be committed to excellence in teaching and mentoring at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
